Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), formerly known as McCarran International Airport, is the main gateway to Las Vegas and the broader Southern Nevada region. Harry Reid International is divided into two primary terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 houses four concourses (A, B, C, D), and Terminal 3 is designated for international flights as well as some domestic operations, containing the E concourse. The airport offers both short-term and long-term parking options, with shuttle service provided to and from the terminals. In future, however, the city’s monorail system may be extended to the airport from the MGM Grand Station. The monorail runs from the south end to the north end of the Strip, for about 3.9 miles.

Russell Road, Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road are important for airport access as well. International airline companies such as WestJet, Air Canada, British Airways, Korean Air, Sunwing Airlines and Aeromexico are found at Terminal 2, the international one. This terminal is also the arrival and departure point of most charter flights.

If you are dropping off a passenger, you can also use the curbside areas located outside of each terminal. However, please note that curbside parking is restricted to active loading and unloading only. If you need to park your vehicle for an extended period of time, you will need to use one of the airport’s parking facilities.

In December 1948, it was rechristened for U.S. senator Pat McCarran, and commercial airlines shifted to it from the Las Vegas Army Airfield.
